Who's Festus? That used to be what the neighbors called me when I was a kid because my dad had promised me a horse when we moved and got me a donkey instead. Seriously.

The only Festus I know was Marshall Dillon's deputy on Gunsmoke. He was kind of a "donkey" kind of guy. A little slow and very eager to please, if memory serves.

I take full blame for any baking related discussions today! I think I started this whole mess with my Kalamata olive thread!! No wait! I blame the "Old Man" next door! He gave me the olives and the strawberries!

Lol I know who Festus was! I was wondering who you were calling Festus. The Festus on TV rode a mule and that's why they called me Festus was because I had a donkey. Both long eared and contrary.
