For a lot of things, I've found that smaller jars is better than large.
I got almost NOTHING on my list done today! Talk about a messed up day!
I got up, got hubby off to work and got the trash and recyclables out and washed a load of clothes. Once that was done, I got started on the peaches. My dehydrator has 8 trays, so I filled all of them up and turned it on, then hung out my clothes. I decided that I was going to go the farm a bit early, get everything done early, then go home so I would have several hours to work on everything. So I get to the farm, get everyone fed and while I'm waiting for Stormy to finish I start to pick my field. First, I had RU show up. She had 2 RBs in the back of her truck, and wanted to unload them in the parking area. So, I had to chase horses out so she could get in. While we were doing this, KN showed up. She didn't have any extra runs and wanted to work w/Honey. We get the RBs out, RU pulls out and KN backs her bus in. Since we both wanted to use the RP and I had other stuff to do first, I told her to go ahead and use it first.
She disappears, I manage to get the horses out into the parking area and go back to picking the field. KN calls. She's hurt and real dizzy. So I ask where she is, hop on my bike and ride down. Talk about scared. She's on her side right up against a gate and all the horses are around her. My first plan had been if she was up to it to put her on the back of my bike and ride her up. No way I could do that. RU wasn't home, she had gone for another load of hay. But, PT was there so I tried to call her phone. She doesn't answer. So, I cup my hands around my mouth and start calling for her. She can hear me, but can't understand what I'm saying. So she calls. I tell her to bring her car down. She does, we're able to get KN into the car. She had been going to just take her up to the house, but instead, they went to the ER.
I figured I'd let RU know B4 I got started working w/a horse since I figured PT wouldn't be able to stay at the ER since she also drives a school bus and would have to leave to do her PM run. So, I went back to picking the field. RU gets back and I go and tell her. She lost her phone! I tried to call it, but we didn't hear it ringing. So, she has no idea where it could be. So that meant that when KN was ready to leave, she was going to have to call me. I help RU get the hay unloaded, she goes and gets another truck load and I finish picking my field and bag field. But I decided NOT to work w/a horse. I didn't want to get started and have to stop.
RU gets back, I help her unload. Then I help her hang a gate and eat lunch. She had to go to TSC, so I went w/her. (Got a pair of jeans and a pair of capris w/a belt for $20.00!) While I was in there, KN called. She was done in the ER and needed to be picked up. So we went and got her, then went back to the farm.
By now, it's after 3:00. So I didn't even go to my parents, I just went home. Checked the peaches in the dehydrator, they were done, so I took them out and started on some more to put in. Hubby gets home. He wanted to take an old TV to his mom's for the girl (Nozi? she's Ukrainian)that's living there. But, he wasn't sure if he could get it out of the car and into the apartment by himself. So, I went w/him. We weren't supposed to be long. We get there, find out his SIL was supposed to come over that day and do some food shopping, but she never made it. So hubby took Nozi to the store to get stuff that's needed while I stayed w/his mom. They finally get done and get back. By this time, it's almost 8:00! We had been going to go out for dinner. It was just too late. Instead, we called a sandwich shop ordered sandwiches and figured we'd swing by there on the way home and get them.
We get there and found out that they didn't listen when hubby ordered! They only had 1 sandwich ready instead of 2.

So, they had to make another one.
I've eaten and now I'm sitting here thinking that I should really get off of here and go to bed.
