Well the thought for today is... Stay cool - in more ways than one. Our central air, fridge and other things were toasted by the lightning storm early Sunday. A cow( not mine) in the pasture not a half mle down the road was killed by a lightning strike as well the same morning. But did they consider butchering it for meat or asking someone if they would ... No. They just buried it. I was horrified. Why let that meat go to waste when u could at least recoup some of your expense for said cow and use what u could. It would have fed someone some good meals. Oh well enough ranting on that.

Now been dealing with insurance and air conditioning ppl and such.
I have to replace this stuff with actual comparable to the sane item stuff. Well here is my ? Why can't I take the " replacement " price and apply it to a better( something I need more for example the fridge I need one that is a little different than the old one but not more$$ but that's not what they will replace) replacement.
. Grrrrrr.

Insurance delt with. Running errands then hopefully work on pool this afternoon and get tomatoes and pepper planted!!!

Wow, who is your insurance co? You'd think they would just give you the $ and like you said, if you wanted something better you could do that.

On the same note, they may not have been "allowed" to butcher out the cow because then it would not be a complete loss for insurance. Not sure, just a thought.

Jornaling this week has been as productive as killin ants in the ant hill one at a time.

Anywho. Air is fixed yahhh. Worked open to close yesterday and back at it this morning. Still no maters in the ground yet. I have a bad feeling I won't b getting any good maters I am afraid. Grrrrr

Working on trying to get the pool dug out and fixed while hubby is in the mood to do it. Only a few years that I had to wait lol. But man are my shoulder and back talking and screaming at me. The to go to work( in a hair salon) where my hands and shoulder are up anyway makes for a long painful day lol. Then go home and dig some more. Hopefully will get it up this weekend. We shall see
