Does anybody have Book- Reader's Digest Back to Basics? Any Edition?

There are several on Ebay at very reasonable buy it now prices. $14.99, 18.99 etc. I would just snap one up and forget the bidding.

What edition are you looking for? Is it the same one that Amazon has in stock?

Either edition, that I know of is 1981 and 1997. 1981 is much cheeper than 1997 but its the same book just older.

That makes me think. Two excuses to go to goodwill, 1- look for large glass jars for storing canned and dehydrated goods, 2 - look for back to basic book for fellow SSer. I guess I'll just have to go to the goodwill store tomorrow.

Same here Denise....I will " suffer through Goodwill" for a SS friend...and will look for this book...altho, they might have misplaced it in another isle...so, I MIGHT have to search every isle...Ohhh, the pain...

I am so jealous I wanna go to goodwill too..Tried to go there when I was in town sunday but we got an early start and they dont open til 11am on sundays and I wanted to be back home planting my fall garden by then. BTW already have cabbage collards, butternuts and pickling cucumbers coming up,, YAY!! Grow babies grow!

This book is great I have one some wheres in the disaster from moving. Hope you find a cheap one. Try looking on ebay they usually have a few of them at any given time.

I just got the 1981 edition at a library sale for a whopping $1.00!!!!!
