BB, did going gluten free change your hypothyroidism?
Greatly! In fact, I would venture to say, that I was/am not truly hypo.
I have adrenal fatigue, which does create interesting thyroid issues, but finding out I have celiacs, answered all the questions for us.
Now I just have to heal fully form all the years of damage.

I do eat oats, but they have to be properly prepared, hence my recipe for soaked baked oatmeal.

See, if you have an autoimmune disease, no matter what kind it is, it will wreak havoc on the endocrine system. A slow death to it, so to speak. And it usually starts with the adrenals.
So, do you still take thyroid meds? i have jsut had my Rx increased. And I do have autoimmune disease. I looked at the adrenal fatigue, and it does not really match me .
I have never taken thyroid meds.
No test could prove a problem, even though I could check off 90% on the adrenal and thyroid issue lists.

I like my oatmeal with either brown sugar or honey and then sprinkled with cinnamon.. Sometimes I add walnuts also
