We meet our DD on Tuesday in Cisco, halfway to Odessa, to pick up our granddaughters. Then back again on Saturday. DD texted today, when the girls say their prayers at night, they pray to hurry up and come see us. One of those awwww moments.

Things are good! Pup was just settling in when I went and brought home the grands. LOL - I'm a glutton for punishment. Three grands ages 9 - 13 and a brand new puppy. But it works out pretty well - they keep each other entertained!

Belle was probably glad for the break too! :)

I betcha your house is a real bundle of activity this week, FEM!! You are a brave woman. When they get into the tens, we grands are put onto the back burner --- for a while.

Ya'll enjoy those grands while you can -- my ONLY leaves for college this coming weekend. Happy for her. My DD has developed some OCD tendencies over the years and is freaking that the grand isn't "getting ready" like she wants. I suggested she didn't always respond in the manner I'd like at that age either. :idunno😁 Subtly, of course.

It is a bit of a crazy house for sure! These kiddos are so much fun- and a big help too. And even as teens/pre-teens they still like us and are asking to stay longer.

And-what’s better than kids and puppies?

Kiddos left Friday... :( We had an awesome visit and I already miss 'em like crazy. Beau misses 'em too, lol. They walked him every 30 minutes or so just for fun. He's outside with Belle now. I'm not as good a dog walker as they are, lol.

Yeah, we took ours back yesterday. Met halfway, 3 1/2 hour drive, then turn around and come back. Sure do miss them!

Doc appt today to see why the hand I injured 6 weeks ago is getting worse instead of better....:(

He gave me a strong Prednisone prescription and a referral to a hand specialist. UGH! Steroids better work because I cannot figure out how to fit hand surgery and animal care into the same sentence. :(
