Wow! It is gorgeous out today!! We're not expected to hit 80 degrees!! 
I guess it means no excuses for getting stuff done. But I do think we will have to fit in a hike with the dog at some point!

We're off. I have pried the computer mouse from the child's hands, we are sneakered, potty pit stopped, breakfasted, backpacked, leashed (the furry one that is) and we are headed into the woods with GPS in hand.

Well, the multitude of trails here was actually our undoing. We've gotten lost before but today we didn't. We couldn't find our geocache though. We got close but we didn't seem to be close enough and I wasn't willing to go bushwacking through the rampant poison ivy to get closer! We had a good hike, wore out the dog and ourselves! Then we went to another part of the park so the dog could swim. Now the kiddo wants to swim in his kiddie pool so I must sit on the deck with my feet up and a glass of lemonade to keep an eye on him.

Yay! We got DS a new PFD or life jacket was we old timers call them. $12!! We are set to go canoeing with DH this weekend. He is stuck in class till 2 tomorrow but then is home for good!
