It was actually a pleasure to get gas...

Hope to see it go below $2 here, if only for a little while. It's at $2.22 as of yesterday. Haven't driven by today.

yesterday. Our local Raceway had it for $1.99 gal. It hasn't been below $2.00 in years.

We had actually thought about buying a more economical vehicle when prices were sky high. All our vehicles average about 15 mpg. We didn't think we would save enough on gas for a car payment. I'm so glad we just drastically cut back on going. If I had a new car payment now with prices so low, I would be sick.
Don't be lulled by these prices, I don't believe they'll last. We bit the bullet and bought one fuel efficient car, and someday I'd like to do it again - when we get this one paid off. This is one of the reasons why we're in a pickle right now, people didn't learn their lesson last time this happened back in the early 70's. Maybe this time business will really pay attention and come up with some good alternatives, they surely didn't through the 80's and 90's

I filled up for 2.19 yesterday . It won't last :( OPEC will cut production and the price will go back up.

$2.09 here. About 15 mi away there's a town of truck stops where it's $1.99. We're about a week behind them as prices fluctuate so we should be under $2.00 next week. :clap

$2.41/gal here, but tomorrow I will fill up for a 10cent discount & dh will fill up his truck too(desiel) with a discount as my purchases at frys earn us a discount. I usually save them for his truck as he requires more to fill up & desiel costs more too.

It's down to 125 yen per liter here, or roughly 1.25$ per quart.
So down to 5$ per gallon, from a high of $6.70 per gallon.

Sounds crazy but it's all relative, cars are smaller get good mileage, distances closer. But because of my commute 20 miles one-way, still spending 200-250$ per month on gas.

Waiting for the plug in electric car! But don't want to give up my 4WD and wood hauling ability.

I bought gas for $1.84 today while driving through in south Missouri. Here in north AR, it's $1.96.

It is $2.69 to $2.80, but we can't complain. I just hope it goes down before I need to start driving and paying for my own gas.

Yesterdays prices around here ranged between 1.99 and 2.13 all stations along one stretch of highway. We decided it is time to top off the 55 gal drum and fill all the gas cans. I really anticipate a little bit lower drop before the price spikes again but...I have been wrong before. LOL So we will just go with what we KNOW and not what I think.
