Have you tried heat tape for your pipes? We have that installed on our pipes up in the roof.

Awwwww you have a spoiled lady too!? Mine is Henrietta, Etta for short. When they clipped her beak they really did a bad job and she sometimes has a hard time picking stuff off the ground. We almost didn't buy her but she was so sweet (she's a red sex link) that we just had to have her! Loves to be hand fed...sometimes I leave her a special little bowl that she can eat out of but sshhhhh, don't tell anyone, they'll think I'm crazy!

Man, you guys are getting cold! Do you turn the heat off at night? I thought about doing that but hubby can't take it. Wus! He blames it on the kids but they can handle the cold!
