LovinLife- Happy New Year's all!

Hey lovinlife......it really is not as hard or as bad as it sounds. Give your self a week or so to adjust and you will be amazed!

Start out by upping your veggie intake to make up for the bulk, include good whole fat foods, like cheese, yogurt, butter, clean peanut butter, meat etc and you will really be amazed at how good you feel!

I'm 11 days sober off caffeine!! Longest I think I've ever gone. I got a *decaf* coffee yesterday though, was more a "sugar pill" energy. Its not as hard as you think, just replace with kombucha and herbal teas.

Congrats! I went about 2 weeks before relapsing. Good luck....I'm drinking some Raspberry Leaf tea right now.

If you do try Kombucha, try not to go by your first impression. The first time I tried it, I thought it tasted like vinegar with a little honey in it; but I tried it a few more times and suddenly found myself addicted to it. I was devastated when they took it off the market because I never got around to learning how to brew my own.

But it's back, and I am happy.

Oh WZ I know you're right and it's very depressing. No rice, bagel, grits, oatmeal, crusty bread, cookies????

:th
After some time has passed, give real sourdough a try. Its very traditional, and easily absorbed, as long as you do nto have an actual gluten intolerance or allergy.
