Yay! Goat babies! Are they living in your house at this age, or just visiting? Don't feed them all they want of milk, it will be too much and will cause trouble....find a chart for your age goats.

Give them both a smooch for me and please update your title as soon as you put up pics!!! (I don't get to all the threads but when I see goats or recipes, I check it out!)

They come in for feeding and Play time, it's too funny i love them I forgot how much fun goats are they have a kennel out in what used to be my tack room so its nice and warm in there ...that is also where I raise my baby chicks I plan on building a bigger pen for them in a few weeks just hoping the weather stays nice so I can get it done I wish i could have gotten the ones little sister too but DH said 2 goats is enough but what he don't know (whisper) is that goats are really large rabbits in desgise so u know what rabbits do.. Multiply!!! LOL

When I had Gidget in the house, she stayed in the kitchen! She was small enough to keep contained in there. My hubby thought it was kind of neat having her in there, but if I had let her all over the house, I think he would have objected. After all, kids aren't exactly house broken.

Ok Little goats have black runny Poo I know this can't be good, they are getting goat milk replacer about 20oz two times a day they run and are playing any ideas on what I should do ???

Common with milk replacer and very dangerous. Get over to byh to post this if no one here answers quickly (haven't dealt with this myself) and consider switching them over to whole vitamin D milk from the grocery store instead of the replacer. Yikes.

I agree with Free - over on BYH Roll Farms and Helmstead have a lot of experience bottle feeding kids so they'll be able to help you determine your best course of action.

I do know this, though - stop feeding them any milk until their poo returns to normal.

Well we are tiring whole milk now for baby goats still have a little runny poo so off to the feed store I will go to get some drench and Coicci stuff I can't spell it LOL On the bad news side my DH was just fired form his job so SS stuff is going to come in real handy right now Ughhh I feel so stressed I can't seem to think
