I sold Prince, my chestnut gelding, last night to a family with 4 kids. They will pick him up on Sunday afternoon. I am delighted with his new family. Have a lady coming this morning to look at Pearl. I hope she gets a good home too. My ancient old TWH mare, Sparkles, is 36 and sickly with heaves. At this point the kindest thing I can do for her is to put her down. There won't be room for horses at my son's house and I don't need the expense. Hard decisions.

Paris is 13 now and getting painful in her back legs. She has good days right now, but I know what is coming.

My world has gone to crap.
