DH is a good man! And, I like the lazy route! True on the timing...might a well have a baby when it's 'forced to be inside' weather! ;)

I am excited and happy for you. Yeah, you'd better not do any heavy lifting and take darn good care of yourself. This baby is already loved and very much wanted. He/she couldn't be born into a more loving home than yours.

Ok.... I must confess. I've been keeping a secret from (most of) you.... But after a good appt today it's time to confess- I'm pregnant! 11+ weeks. Due in February!

Do you understand why my garden is a mess of weeds? I'M SO TIRED!!! And I can't lift over 25 lbs, so my DH has been doing more than his fair share of farm work the past 6 weeks or so.

Did I mention I'm exhausted?
This is amazing news, congratulations!! :hugs

My husband has been working crazy hours and working on tearing down that building for our future barn. So we are incredibly behind on everything here! Trying to keep up... But trying not to stress about the fact that we're behind either.

The wild raspberries are ripening, DD and I got some to snack on today. The blackberries will be next and we have a CRAZY amount of those. Our property was logged before we got here and we have a ridiculous amount of blackberries that have taken over. I don't mind because they're not in the way or taking over anywhere important.

Tomorrow's forecast says high of 63 and rainy. I'll take it!

High of 63???? Is that summer there? Geeze, we were 95 by 11 this morning.

But, dang, how awesome is it to have bramble fruits volunteering all over the place?!

It has been hot, 85-90. Tomorrow is not typical for summer, even here. Hence why I will enjoy it so much!

The bears and I share the berries. Sometimes I make a mental note of ones that just need one more day, and when I go back to get them, they're gone! How rude!

Stoopid bears! But, ummmm don't you worry they'll be a little annoyed that you're picking "their" berries? Do they come out in the daytime? Do you take dogs, guns, hand grenades when you go pick 'em?
