Ohiofarmgirl'sAdventuresinTheGoodLand-where ya been? whatcha been doin

hey everyone!! we are FINALLY back...and geez you solved all the problems WITH rhyme!

but

we sold the babies! can you believe it?

to a WONDERFUL woman - has rescue horses, cats, and a lively barnyard herself. she's a nurse and her best pal is a vet! so everyone was very happy and she was smitten as a kitten with the mini-pops. and i am very very very VERY (did i say very?) relieved they found such a good home.

i told her about the no pooping and handed her a bottle of MOM (of course she was already well stocked), a gallon of goat milk, and the little lumpkins. she was thrilled. so they are in good, loving hands.

but the cutest thing - they were out skip poppin all over the place (we let them latch onto Debbie just before we left) and they were all over the yard. it was hilarious. and they loved to follow the hubby all around. most of the hens were bigger than they were....so we had a fun last cute time with them.

:-)

K - thanks for the link i was looking everywhere for it

Free - how funny! i was doing this! i remembered this from when i bottle fed our kitten so i was rubbin' their bums.

KC - you totally win for dr suessin' it up! yay

happy sunday! now i'm off to count my big goat-sellin' loot

whoot! congrats on selling the skip pip poppin' babies!

so

my spies (the chickens) have reported suspicious activity out there in the barnyard.

and i can't seem to find Little Nibbles.... every time i ask The Big Man he kind of avoids my gaze and mumbles something about "maybe it was because you were so mean to her... "

hum...

i need to get my informants on this... wonder where she is.....

Isn't that what is supposed to happen when you put a Free sign on them? j/k I hope you found her or find her shortly.

Maybe she's re-thinking this motherhood thing and went to find her babies

well we're back from town.

before we left i sent my henchmen (the guineas) out to interrogate... i mean.... question... i mean "make casual inquiries" to the rest of the malcontents where Nibbles is.

while i've been assured that the questioning "was in full accord of the Geneva Convention" the guineas (Bob and Roy) said that our younger gander, Jr., "sung like a canary."

apparently Little Nibbles has been placed in the witness protection program.

The Big Man said he didnt know anything about this and hurried off to do "man stuff" in the garage.

i'm off to see what i can find out.

in a totally unrelated matter, i'm sure, there has been some acts of sabotage out there. someone turned the hose on and now the hen yard is flooded. hum... malfeasance for sure.....

my enforcers, the dogs, have let me know that Chirper, the turkey hen we have incarcerated (we're trying to get her to make a nest INSIDE), is willing to "make a deal." apparently she has some information where they are hiding Nibbles.

i'm taking the brute squad out to "question" Chirper......
