we got the new gal yesterday - we are gonna need a bigger bucket

http://adventuresinthegoodland.blogspot.com/2011/03/were-gonna-need-bigger-bucket.html

would ya just LOOK at the bag on that goat!?!! we got almost a GALLON from her this morning - and she's just been fresh a week....so when she really starts cranking its gonna be epic.

and she's as big as a yak. and just as shaggy. we'll get her cleaned up and whipped into shape in now time.

in the meantime she's kinda bossy. Debbie looks like a midget next to her. Nibbles is giving her a wide bearth. Sunny hates the ducks, couldnt give a hoot about the dogs, and she had Vita are duking it out. all the babies love her tho and she's like a big old grandma to them. the little ones ADORE her.

Nib's babies nearly passed out when they saw her udder...i'm serious, their little eyes nearly bugged right of our their heads.

we're calling her Sunny b/c her real name is too pretentious and i couldnt pay attention long enough to figure out what is was.

i'll get more pix later but i couldnt believe her udder this morning so i had to snap this shot.

and yes, we were late for church.

Dang - that looks like a cow.

Speaking of cows - I've been playing a word game on Facebook (yes, I know I need to be more productive - but I just say I'm warding off Alzheimer's) and every time I type in COW, or MOO, or BEEF, my 'puter moos at me. I just laugh out loud.

Good find on that goat, OFG. She's udderly fantastic.

hee hee hee the Niblets.. ohmigosh thats a good one!

um... Nibbles is totally old hat. her babies are totally swarming around Sunny - and she is letting them all nurse off her! can you believe it!?!?

i dont think Nibbles has any hoots - she was on her cell talking to her peeps and was saying something about how she needs more "me" time and needs to concentrate on her career as a full time dairy gal. so if "the new girl - that nanny" wants to take care of them, thats fine by her.

Um.....if that udder gets any bigger you are going to need to build a jumbo milking stand for her. Her feet are almost on the edge as it is!

Glad the babies have a nanny now. I bet she can feed them and have plenty left for her human family. Nibbles is gonna have to be on reaaalllly good behavior now.
