Doesn't matter where I look, they start trying to get my attention. I haven't done it in awhile, but I used to zone out quite frequently. I think I did it because it was my only escape from my crazy life. Then, I got a horse.

so last nite i called someone (Little Mo?) "Pudding" and i laughed and laughed... hee hee hee

but then i woke up this morning to more of the Rain of Doom. i'm telling you its RAINING out there.

there's water in the basement so thats a joyful start to the day. it will be followed by milking extra smelly goats. and slogging around in the poop soup. and then some truck trenching. and the standing around and cursing the rain.

then i'll give up and go inside and start cutting the cheese.

thats my day.

Yesterday I hid in my subterranean garage half the day. It was 90 + and hot as heck here. We had wind from the SE, known as Santa Anna's. I am not looking forward to this years summer and fire season. My chickens his under an avocado tree most the day. meat birds sat round with one leg sticking out, What is up with that?

I would love some rain.

Hey - do think that if I finally break down and buy a raincoat that it would stop raining? Is it worth a try? Because my fleece barn coat isn't very waterproof and it's kinda hard to hold an umbrella while goat wrangling...
