I'm back in school right now for interior design. I know that sounds like good money, but not where I live. When I'm done I'll be making about the same salary I make now, which is not much. Maybe in 15 years I'll make something like 50% more than I am making now, maybe more if I turn out to be really good and really lucky. I'm not doing it for money. I just kinda figure if I'm gonna be broke I might as well be broke doing something I love. But like anything, ya gotta have the degree to get in the door. I could get my degree and move to a larger city and make really good money, but I don't want to leave the New Orleans area. I need to be within like an hour of some good gumbo!

Yeah OFG he DOES need that paper.

He has 29 credit hours from Tech School that are transferable to reg college hours if he just took those regular college classes. Important things ...like bowling and music appreciation .. things he HAS to take for the paper to hang on the wall that will make NO difference as far a trouble shooting a computer or maintaining a web browser. The major problem once again has to do with paper. It is all about the Benjamin 's baby!

You either have to have them or be willing to go deep into debt. The whole system just sucks.
