I wish I could eat pie for brekkie every day. My blood sugar can't handle it at the moment. :/ So is that pie like a sugar cream pie I would love it with a big pile of fresh peaches and whipped cream, mmmmm.
Did you get those crazy thunder storms yesterday? Holy cow. I woke up to thunder at 8am and thought the world was ending.
It was a good day to spend in bed, which I did due to being wiped out from festivities the day before.
Hope the humidity goes away!

MY KITCHEN IS CLEAN

i know, i know.. its a miracle... it wont last long but for these 38 seconds... its just like heaven.

and it smells like heaven too.. i just made another buttermilk pie! whoot!

and how fun is this - i made it with real, not cultured, buttermilk! i shook a jar of cream this morning until i had butter.. and i had just enough buttermilk to make the pie!

its too hot and swampy and WET out there to do any good..and we've been storming on and off all day. so i'm stuck inside.

Buttermilk pie sounds so good - I can't eat that kinda stuff anymore either - (said in my whiney voice).

DH is working on ours now. I was earlier but he's braver about cleaning out the fridge so he took over for a bit. It's hot and steamy here so I think he's enjoying it.
I really do need to try that pie.....

My rhubarb isn't ready to harvest yet, but we do have a rhubarb patch. and an asparagus patch.

But. That means I should have bought a rhubarb pie at the Farmer's Market

I eat pie and cake all the time. Of course I use erythritol instead of sugar and almond meal instead of flour...
