It was 60* when I got up yesterday morning and 64* this morning The high today is only 93* but that beats over 100* like it has been.

hey TT's dont worry - we always have snacks

the storms totally missed us altogether - but i could use like 20 mins of rain to water in the stuff i just planted.

in the good news department - we got our first blueberry! yay!

and

for the first time Kai, Ti, and Lucky are all eating together. we've kept them apart this whole time but now that Kai is almost as big as they are we decided to let them work it out. so far so good. she knows now to get near Ti ....but she and Lucky might just go a few rounds. we dont allow ANY food aggression but she likes to tease him. i'm pretending not to be watching (but i am!).

she is almost as big as they are - i still feel a little silly feeding her puppy chow.

i'm currently calling her "The Destroyer" b/c she had demolished everything in with 20 foot radius around her this morning. we have got to get some of those wiggles out! if the thunder stops i might just go and let her have a long long swim in the pond.

Well, up here we've gotten probably 2 inches of rain so far. Crazy.

My blueberries don't have any blossoms this year :/ Don't know what the deal is with them.

We had cloudy and cool, but no rain. Of course. Colorado is not a rainy place. It's still cool, but the sun is trying to make an appearance. Amira is lying in the sunbeam and glaring at the sky every time a cloud rolls by lol!!

Sweet cherries are on a decent sale so I wanna try my hand on a fruit-only freezer jam

i'm trying to"herd' them so they will go outside and into the cool grass. but its like of like herding bowling balls.

Kai's Reign of Terror ended unceremoniously this afternoon about 3:30 when she fell into a deep sleep, exhausted by her evil-deed-doing that lasted the greater part of the day.

this is just a smattering of what Kai "The Destroyer" did today.

and now i'm off to feed the neighbor's cows. if ONLY they were dairy cows! but alas they are beefs and even tho i'm temped by the momma cows enormous udder, i'm heeding Bourbon Red's learned words of 'WHAT ARE YOU NUTS!?!!? DONT GET IN WITH THAT BEEF COW WITH A CALF AND TRY AND MILK HER!!!! SHE'S HALF CRAZY!!'

so i'll just stare longingly at Aprils, huge udder and daydream of cheese......
