Restoring/rescuing a 100+ year old shed. Am I nuts?

I found 2 more intact ones and one broken one. And a lot of other little bottles. Much broken glass and rusted metal tins and stuff as well. I'm doing well in there today and I'm working in a t-shirt! It's so wonderfully mild out today, I love it!

That's really cool! Looks like you've got the start of a collection right there!
I don't collect stuff. I did a few times over the years, but never really got into it. I thought these are too cool to throw in the glass recycling bins, so if anyone wants them, shoot me a PM. A friend of mine's dad collects, so I may send him one, but the other two (and if I find more) are up for grabs @shipping cost, which shouldn't be much.

LOL FEM, that is true! Why did you say "collection"? I have FIVE of the big jars like in the pic now and 2 small ones. Whoever lived here really liked Bovril…

Anyway, today's before and after. Container stuff is broken glass, jars and bottles that I need to take the bins and crumbly rusted metal that I find easier to keep contained.

I'm down nearly to the floor in the corner area :)

That's amazing Sumi you have done a lot of work there. Anything of historic value yet?

Apart from the Bovril jars, nothing much :) I did a quick Google search and it seems these are very old.

I'll go get them out of the shed tomorrow and clean them and see about pics. I just put the new finds in a safe place and carried on working this afternoon.

Yes! My son has been collecting bottles since he was little. He'd love that!!
Sumi, if you hold on to them, my son can ship them home when he gets there in June.
