Steam canner?

Yes, I've heard the cooler idea is a good one to make yogurt. Don't know if it would keep things warm enough to cook something like beans though

I've made yogurt in a cooler, and also made it with a heating pad. Both methods are pretty stupid simple.

I bet there is a huge difference between using a cooler to finish off a bag of beans bought at Hannaford, compared to finishing off a batch of home grown and dried beans. I bet the store bought beans are MUCH drier, and MUCH older, perhaps even kiln dried!!!

So here's the challenge: Any one wanna try the cooler method??? Or wrapping a pot of beans in a sleeping bag???

I have a 5 gallon bucket of black beans that are old enough that I have to pressure cook them. I bought them back in my prepper stage.
I still haven't found the magic time for them in the Instant Pot, but I'm getting closer.
