I was kinda disappointed with my creepy meats. They were really small, stunk to high heaven and made a mess of my yard.

I was thinking if I did it again something that would free range might work better for me.

Yes it was really new when I found it. Still a bit wet. It has a much darker head and back than the others.

8 turkey and 2 chicken eggs still in the nest.

I hit Goodwill this morning... Avoiding my house chores.

Got lucky!! I found a Vacuum sealer canning jar attachment. Brand new never used for 3 bucks.

I also found a beautiful picture of an Amish farm. I took down the oils from above my bed and hung it there. I wonder if DH will notice. Maybe he will just get subliminal messages while he sleeps.


No more turkeys.

Working on blanching garden veggies today. Some green beans, beets, carrots.

I need to make laundry soap.

Thinking about moving all my furniture around.

Not much else.

Good deal at Goodwill!! I tend to avoid our goodwills because it seems so hard to find deals there anymore

My goodwill is soooo over priced. I have a good eye though and only buy specific things. Or at least try to.

Not really - just working around the place and the yard saling today was planned.

I spent $12.50 and brought home 19 outfits, 8 headbands, a pair of tights, and 5 hats, and a brand new my first year photo frame all for baby girl.

spent another $3 buying 5 books and a set of 4 tart/pie pans plus the cookbook to go with them.

I'm really pleased with my purchases LOL

I should really avoid my feed store.

Poor turkeys couldn't figure out who all the new kids were.

Since I have the brooder running for two turkeys I figured I should gets some more chicks in there..

I bought 6 Americanas and 4 Black Australorps. Cute, cute, cute!!!

I was chatting with the nice gal who runs the place. Meat birds and processing was our topic of choice. She said there are lots of people who enquire about processing. They don't want to do it. Maybe something brewing there.

DW Wants to do another batch of meat birds this summer. I wanted to get a small group of rangers in advance of the meaties so they all could be processed on the same day. She's not convinced yet.

This batch goes to the processor in like two weeks or so.

I really think the Rangers will work well for me. I was thinking about getting in on the June 20th order. But that means they will be at their largest is late August.

Which can be really hot here.

Other than that I would have to wait until fall.
