nice day out today, for the first time in a long time it was cool enough to work well past noon plus i could take some time out from weeding to start checking on some bean plants and pick some pods that were starting to get dry enough that i was worried about having any more rains hitting them.

also there's a bleeping tiny bunny in there eating the bean plants and some of those plants are one-of-a-kind...

the bunny was brave or dumb enough to start chomping on a bean flower about 5ft from me yesterday, i didn't have the air rifle with me but i was weeding with my knife and threw it at it and bonked it with the handle (yes, i'm a pro (heh, not really)) and then i chased it into a corner behind some butterfly weed bushes but those things are not easy to get through so i couldn't get it.

hopefully i scared it enough for it to decide to finally try life outside the fence, but not sure that happened - there's way too many hiding spaces in all those gardens (most of them with tomatoes, beans or pepper plants now).

but that all said, i did get some time in at last to spend some time weeding the north garden edge and the onion patch which is near the top part of the north garden. i've been needing to do this for months. much more to do... i figure it might take a week or more to get it back into shape. it's a mess...
