Sounds like you're having a really good tomato harvest - totally jealous... ;)

Big Beef (a beefsteak variety it may even be a hybrid) tomatoes, in the right conditions i can get 40-60lbs per plant per season. it's about 3lbs per quart when canned.

i'm not sure what this season is going to end up like since so far there has been a lot of damage from raccoons and the weather hasn't been great so that first picking might be the majority of what we get. my current estimate is 60-90 quarts total (from 9 plants).

last year i told Mom i was downsizing so we've gone from 12 plants to 9 (which is much less than 16 or in some years past i was growing over 30 tomato plants). i am overloaded with what we having going as it is so having less to process this time of the year will help.

it turned out to be 16 & 1/2 quarts. i have not looked to see yet what the 2nd picking is like. i'm kinda not wanting to see how much the raccoons have damaged. will check things out tomorrow as some family are coming over for lunch and they probably will want some fresh ones to go with them.
