it was pretty dang good.
we cook it just like chicken

i'll have to pick strawberries, some should end up as freezer jam and some for us to eat and perhaps some for the freezer because we have a group of people coming over for veggie pizza and shortcakes and i likely won't have that many berries all at once otherwise.

since it is going to be a long and busy day perhaps i need a nap first.

Canned rabbit is a great substitute for canned chicken. It's almost identical.

I froze two quarts of fresh broccoli this afternoon. I picked four nice heads this morning.

I put up 15 pints of kosher dills today & 9 pints over the weekend. I've got green beans to do tomorrow.

That's great! I've got to learn to make good pickles. We've been eating tons of refrigerator pickles and we like 'em, but that's not a long-term storage solution.
