WHAT ARE YOU CANNING TODAY?

I didn't want to waste these apples but, just had to stop myself!! :he  Control!
I swear if I had another outlet for them I'd do it. I've given them to neighbors, family, and strangers on the street, lol! Nothing on the farm will eat 'em except us humans so I have no other choice.

He found 3 brand new, but very dusty, boxes of pint jars/lids. Yay! Hope he finds more because it looks I'm going to be canning lemon juice for the rest of my life....

AMAZING what we have stashed away  Not re-spending about $30-35 each of us, sure makes the bounty sweeter. Even lemons! Fill the dishwasher time.

Keep him working at it...probably more goodies packed up. I'm sure there are for me. Makes my "time off without pay" worth it for me.

Definitely are treasures buried in there. I have enough ceramic tile sitting out there to do several rooms in my house if/when I decide to get it done.

:) i can't really throw stuff away if it might be useful. the family business went through some gyrations years ago and including in part of that was several pallets of wall tile, quarry tile, etc. we ended up with a pallet of all that here at our place in the garage for several years until it all got put to use:

redoing the walls/ceiling of the shed was a fun job:

it's funny to think of that cactus there in the shed where nobody sees it much, but i had certain kinds of tile and i had to do something with it. i finished with about a box and a half of tile left.

the other three side walls were one color and mostly the same tile, the ceiling was a brighter white instead of almond.

the cactus i did that design as i stood there and counted tiles i had left. i could have made it a more traditional off balance cactus design, but i decided against that as perhaps some people could call it a trident and think it was about water instead. :)
