15 Pints of Sweet Pickle Chips
5 Pints of Green Beans

I did this on Friday evening. Tomatoes and beans this week probably. My beans are look questionable. They are so dry. We need a good rain shower badly.

@Rammy guess what? I used your recipe and I have 9 pints of dry pinto beans in the pressure canner. I got out my trusty bucket of beans, vacuum sealed, from 2013! LOL LOL So many times I want beans but didn’t start them that morning, it’s 4 or 5 PM and beans ain’t happening. I’m fixing chicken mole’ tonight and we’ll have a jar of beans with the pico de gallo I made. Can’t wait to try them!

I just find it easier to can them. Heat up and serve in 5 mins or less. Sometimes I just eat those smothered in ketchup. Yum!

I just took the jars out of the canner. Looks like a lot of the water boiled out. Is it supposed to look like this? Don’t matter, going to try it tonight.

I only filled my jars a little over half full and put water in all the way up to the second ring on the jar. Some if them still had water covering them, some not. I had soaked my beans for 24 hours befire canning them too.

Ok, so I should soak the beans before canning them? I've had them since 2013, so they might be a little hard. They are still good, but I need to use them. It makes sense to can them. Lots of times I would have beans, but somehow neglected to put the pre-planning 24 hours of soaking and simmering all day.

OK, so you soak the beans overnight. Then you fill the jar half full and cover with boiling water to the second ring on the jar. I'll do this next time.
