Why don't I dehydrate more fruit? I dunno but I need to remedy that, lol. Dehydrated kiwi sounds delish!

I am pleased to announce that the last of the 9,564 lbs (Ha!) of onions I harvested are in the dehydrator! I never want to see, cut, or smell an onion again...

Local grower has sweet "Candy" variety onion available at today's local farmer's market. Thinking of getting 15-20 to slice and throw in the dehydrator

Got just over a half gallon jar full after they finished. Will probably get some more this week. Taste almost like candy. So good and so easy to make

I need to dehydrate jerky dog treats. Too much meat in the freezer that I'll never use.

DS16 cut the meat for me. 2 venison shanks from 2019. Lamb lung and liver. My dog wanted to sample - he kept hitting his Eat button while DS16 was cutting up the meat.

We might do more today. My freezers are stuffed and dog treats are expensive.

I planted 2 and goats ate them! Along with 2 apple trees 🤬. These come from a friend whose "fig bush" is almost 12' tall -- there when they bought house over 20 yr ago. They don't like figs 😱🤣

She even picks them for me each day! Of course, I do give her eggs! Couple dz a week, all yr. We're buds 💕 I'll get more each week until they're gone.👍

To be honest, I like my onion frozen better than dehydrated. The dehydrator can be made into a powder that works. Just personal taste. 😁 Same with green peppers.

Other things -- basil, oregano, mint, etc -- dehydrate!

I eat the dehydrated rings like candy, using sweet onions, that is.
