Today I received those cute little packets of silica gel and OXY absorbers. I'm just thinking how have I managed all these years without?

I'm sure they will be helpful one day

Last load of jerky in the dehydrator. I took a break yesterday to focus on work

New unit going today. Sweet and white potatoes, one tray of zucs and one of apple. Late day I'll check progress. It is quiet...gotta be right there to hear any fan. Good.

It's sitting on my stove, so the heat exiting can go out the vent. After all, the AC is on!

Got my 20 pounds of onions tonight. The grower cut the tops off and removed most of the dead layers of skin. Very happy

Also, wife wants some dehydrated blueberries. Will get 10 lbs from the local patch and do them up after the onions

Have 8 trays of zucs working. Crooknecks are awaiting the assault!

Come on figs!!! Get to ripening.....I'm ready for those .
