What did you do in the garden today?

Snow...:th Hard for me to fathom that when I'm in shorts and a t-short with sweat dripping offa my head. I've been doing more tilling and planting for a couple days now. I'm whopped - but still have a bit more to do before going back to work tomorrow.

I spoke to soon - it's looking nasty out there.

Bad weather hit about 20 miles both north east and south west of us. We got a ton of rain, pea sized.hail and semi strong winds but nothing substantial. My grand daughter looked out the screen door during the storm and said look paw paw it's a river, the Nile river. I said the Nile River? and where is the Nile River located? she said in egypt silly paw paw. How she comes up with this stuff is beyond me... She's only 3 1/2 years old but going on 15.

Just about then a.big.ole.clasp of lightning hit close. She screamed.and jumped.in.my lap.and said you will save me.paw paw - sure i will.o said. Then shortly after that loud and long tunder ratteled the house and she screamed and grabbed hold of my neck so tight I could hardly breathe. Little kids are.so awesome - God's gifts.to the world.

That's scary! Glad to hear you weren't affecte by the worst of it! Last summer there was a tornado a couple miles north of us. It was a scary evening for sure! Your granddaughter sounds absolutely adorable!!! :love

Here too. We helped with tornado cleanup just north of us for the last two weeks. 80° yesterday, freeze tonight. Yep, it's spring.

@CrealCritter, that little one sure is smart! And she's got a terrific grandpa!

Garden wise, my plants are still waiting. But I built three more raised beds yesterday. That make 6 new ones for this year.

---> NOT <--- at all what I had planned - oh well it is what it is... time to start pinching buds. Untill I can get them set into the garden.

I have read about pruning tomatoes. Never tried it myself. Seems you have an opportunity to learn! :pop
