Plum grafts are outside in semi shady spot to harden off. They need sun to help them grow big and strong. I like to use a kiddie pool for easy of watering. Put it on a pallet for moving around with tractor is easy also.
Rich May Peaches, this tree is growing all kinds of funny, but who cares? We aren't here to snack on the wood! It's peaches are thinned out and busy putting on flesh. If all goes well, we'll be enjoying Rich May peaches by late May or early June

. Though I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch. I don't chew my cabbage twice, and I certainly won't be eyeing these peaches until their cheeks are soft enough to pluck right off the branch and slide down into.my belly. A lot can happen in the next few weeks, so I'm just praying nothing goes wrong!
Apples are mostly thinned to 1 to 3 per cluster

I focused on leaving the king if it was worth keeping. I discovered that thinning apples was best done with my thumb nail. I mean who doesn't like apples? I dont think I could ever have too many apples. They are so easy to give away.
I think I mentioned plums and apricots got zapped by late freeze this year. I need to reseach late blooming apricot varieties to help avoid zaps in the future.
