What did you do to MAKE money today?

Keenecowboy- not anal at all,thanks for doing the math for me.

So Iam not making a fortune, but Iam not going in the hole.lol

There are times when it cost me less to raise a dz eggs, like when I cook for them (veggies out of our garden) and when the weather is nice and they can free range more.

Wish we had a place to get cheaper grains,your getting a great deal.
 
Were in WA do you live? I was trying to do a map quest.
Some ideas.
Ask your local grocery store to give you there outdated greens and produce.
This would cut your expense. Grow more in the garden that you do not have to freeze.
Check with local farmers for their excess.
It is a an ongoing challenge to cut expenses.
If i get anymore ideas I will bounce them on to you
Have you checked out the backyard chicken site? great ideas on the chickens there?

I live in the Yakima valley, which is in central WA

None of the stores around here will let me have any scrapes,I have tried.

I do grow extra for the chickens, like summer squash and freeze it,also winter squash, in fact I got a pot of squash and apples with a little rice added cooking for them now.

Yea I agree it is a challenge to cut feed cost, but Iam open to any and all ideas, so thanks so much for the feed back.
 
I listed a few things on CL. Nothing selling yet, but i made a move to make money anyway :P
 
Just cashed in Swagbucks for another $5 Amazon gift card :woot Beyond that...nuthin' :P still waiting on the case worker to show up for the home invasion...I mean home study.
