I've read some very disturbing articles lately about Europe's economy being worse than ours because of the need to prop up varying currencies. Has anyone else heard this or have any credible sources for this being true or not?

Handbaskets...hot places...

One "joke" going around right now is as follows...

Q: What is the difference between Iceland and Ireland?
A: 1 letter and 6 months

This is just the start of fun to come folks. Buckle up.

We've been through recessions before. We'll make it through this one too. Hopefully this current plan will work. Turn off the AM for 6 months and don't listen to Fox. Ignore all the nay sayers out there. They should be trying to give us confidence instead of trying to scare us to death. As soon as some good news starts coming in we'll start on an upward swing.

There have been plenty of scare tactics from those on the left, the right doesn't have a lock on it. As for this happening before, it hasn't, this time it involves the whole world, every government, financial center, everyone, it's not just us. Nothing like this has happened before, so there is no clear outcome. We all just have to hang on and hope someone has a clue somewhere.

They aren't listening to a lot of Rush and Hannity in Europe or watching Fox & Friends in Iceland.
