This was a lot of fun to read. I hope we can get it going again. It's fun to read how people choose their names.

My user name is kind of in honor of my dad. He was a milkman, and I spent many, many very happy hours riding with him from one small family farm to another picking up the milk, and bringing it to the plant to be processed. I used to go with him to see the butter and cheese being made, and the big silos filled with milk for drinking. And I kind of grew up with all kinds of animals, having "friends" at home, but also on every farm we visited. I knew all the dogs names, who had horses, where all the barn cats hung out, rabbits, goats, pigs, and if course, cows and calves of all kinds. So I really AM (one of) the milkman's daughters. :)

Mine is not clever enough to require further explanation <g>

Dace, that's cool to know -- when I read I tend to sort of pronounce things in my head so it is good to be corrected on that :)

Pat, yours isn't SO unclever. I mean, I like to picture the chickens posting on this forum alongside you at your computer. :p

The only bit of explanation mine could have is that nobody ever calls me Scotty. Just Scott. But my wife calls me "Scotty G" as a nickname, and it's got a nice ring to it, so I went with it.

My DH is a Scott and my mom calls him Scotty :)
I agree with the image of Pat, I invision her chickens following her around the house.

OH! Forgot also that my wife's old-country grandmother from Nova Scotia calls me "Scotty Boy." She calls everyone that, though. Like, Dace, you would be "Dacey Girl." *chuckles*

Nothing cryptic, as some have thought, but a lot of fun on the air.
