Get a pig! (because they're super fun to raise in the winter.... Not)

How many chickens do you have? I haven't had a single egg in a loooong time.... I'm a little envious of your problem!

@NH Homesteader we have somewheres about 20 hens. We've been getting 11 - 13 eggs per day. Yesterday only 6, so I'm hoping for a bit of a break before spring. :gig

Egg customers are hard to find here. "Everyone" has chickens, and nobody is going to drive by our place without driving by several other places to buy farm eggs.

We have the same problem. Everyone here has chickens, or buys eggs from someone else already. Every local store has local eggs for sale. I am trying to keep my flock small knowing I really have few options for getting rid of excess eggs!

Thyme and eggs are amazing together. When I make a savoury dish with lots of eggs I try to add some thyme to it, just for that flavor.

maybe you should advertise on Facebook or take them to work and sell to coworkers.

I have one lady who calls every couple weeks. She buys all that I have.

I sold many of mine to local B&B's. They use loads of eggs and loved having fresh, free range ones.

Pound cakes normally take 10ish eggs. Angel food ones also, but only whites. Quiche, I love. Hard boiled for salads, sandwiches, snacks. or back into chicken feed.

When I have an abundance -- not now as 1/2 of regular flock are molting o_O and young ones don't start for another month or 2 --
I sometimes make a breakfast casserole with eggs, potatoes, sausage/bacon/ham (whatever I have) & send it to work with DD. She has 10-15 co-workers on any given day. They love it. I used to do this when I worked at an office, no longer do.

AND I share with those who may enjoy or need them.

@Mini Horses Yes I have them banded, so I know their ages. About 2 times a year I take them to a friend and she does what she wants to with them. Is that what you mean?
