CHILI!!!!!!!

The wife said best ever. Accidentally used a can of roasted garlic and basil tomato puree, and of course I added stuff willy nilly trying to tone down the basil, so no recipe.

We ate half, rest is in the freezer

Sounds delish! I wasn't tooo fond of my cheeseburger soup, so maybe a big ol' pot of red is in our near future!

I don't know what dinner is tonight. Last night was homemade pizza. The fresh vegetables and herbs have been the best for the pizzas. Tomatoes are almost done for the season, so we're getting all of our pizza making and eating in while we can.

I plan to smoke my first brisket in my grill tomorrow. It’s defrosting and going to be marinating today and hopefully delicious by tomorrow!
But tonight? Whatever the heck I throw together on a whim lol.

Since I'll be working outside most of the day, I'll probably just take a container of chili from freezer before I go out there this morning. might thaw a bag of goat meat to crock pot tomorrow! That will make for several meals. haven't had any for a while.

Simple chicken a la king recipe....just chicken, cream of chicken soup, heavy cream, vegetables over biscuits. Had a hankering for it

We just had baked potatoes. Butter, bacon crumbles, sour cream, and chives. We actually forgot the cheese. They hit the spot tonight though.

we always had boiled eggs chopped into ours. but a very good meal over toasted homemade bread. couldn't ask for better on a cold winter day.
