Mom made some pasta salad last week so i've come up with a few different ways to eat it as the idea of eating cold food wasn't very appealing to me.

we had a last container of chicken a la king in the freezer which i took portions of and heated it up to get it hot but also to get the texture back to more normal - it gets rather strange and spongy in the freezer, but a few minutes in the microwave and you'd never think anything had happened to it. i'd warm that up and then stir in some pasta salad to make it a more substantial meal. and Mom had some with her mushroom onion soup - i guess i've taught her some new tricks. :)

Tacos. Easy and quick. I didn't feel like doing much after hauling chicken feed and making sure they were good for a couple days in case in floods too much between the house and pens
