I was around 20, but I didn't really pay much attention to Elvis. Wasnt' my thang.

I was 9, I remember seeing the newspaper headline at the little store on my way to school (probably buying candy). Didn't make much difference to me... :/

I was 14 but not a fan. No memory of when I first heard. I remember mom and her friends making many banana sandwich jokes after he died though.

I was 34 yrs. old and my Dad died on that same day. So I don't think I knew about Elvis' death for a day or two after.

I thought about that tuesday. I was a teenager and at the time, Elvis was just an old entertainer to me then. But I will always remember the day, I was in the driveway of my folks home talking to a friend. One of my brother's friends rode in on his bike and said "Elvis just died!".
