Your Weather

It's supposed to hit us overnight. As is usual here in the Cinci area, everyone is FREAKING out. DH just left for sunny Vegas for a week. :tongue I did turn the thermostat up a degree or two since he's not here to keep me warm. (shh, don't tell him! ;))
 
It's been sleeting and raining here since dusk with the temps in the upper 20's. We have an Ice Storm Warning with the possibility of 1 to 2 inches of ice (not including the sleet and later on, snow). The weather service bulletin says "northern Arkansas will see a crippling, devastating ice storm with a lot of power outages." We're as ready as we can be. We've got a BIG pot of chili on the stove, plenty of wood for the woodstove, and the generators, fuel storage cans, and vehicles are all topped off.

To top it all off, Momma just brought me two fresh baked brownies and a glass of milk. Hah! Let the weather come. :D

But with that milk and brownies you sure can survive any disaster! :lol:
 
All that icy cold weather crossing above us is sucking warm air up from the gulf. We are suppose to be up into the 70's today. But then we get rain Wednesday and down to 32 by Thursday.

I hate this wear shorts in the morning, drag out the coat for the afternoon weather we always seem to have in Jan and Feb.
 
63 today. We had an unexpected cold front come thru & they were getting snow up north yesterday & today again. But by Thur., we should be back up to 70's again. 74 for Sat. Wish dh had the tiller all repaired as we could till that morning then in the garden. I know I know :duc

But if it makes you feel beter my furnance is running again!
 
-17 degrees now, was -22 yesterday at this time. DEEEEEEEP FREEEEEEZE........:barnie
 
I have about an inch of frozen stuff on the ground. The weather maps show it worse to the south. It looks like k0xxx is getting hit hard.

More is on the way. Probably no work today.
