us too! Mom made egg salad for 10 people yesterday and gave most of it away. so we have room in the drawer for the eggs she just bought...

I put some tortilla chips in a large salad/cereal bowl x 3. Topped with romaine lettuce and diced up old tomatoes. Ladled two scoops of two types of chili mixed together; topped with shred cheese and sour cream and salsa. That was dinner for the three of us. WOW!!

Good way to use up older chips, browning lettuce (that I picked thru), wrinkled tomatoes and the old old cans of chili!!

chef salad on a cold day. doesn't really appeal to me at the moment, but i'm sure by lunch i'll eat it anyways and not say a thing. it's really easier to just go with the flow sometimes even if it is crunchy and full of obstacles...

Not sure if today or tomorrow, but chicken.

Yeah, sale at 99 cent a lb, split chicken breasts. Thinking 30-40#. Strip meat and can it. Throw skin/bone in stock pot for broth. That should do ME for a long time! Today or tomorrow 🤷 but price is great. Prob grab a couple corned beef while there., 😉

I picked up a couple of corned beefs yesterday, but won't likely cook one today. Bought a rotisserie chicken (lazy me) that we'll use in salads for a couple of days.
