Adding new chickens to our flock

Mine aren't any bigger than my other hens at the moment but they are young and still growing. They get picked on some, they're quite docile. They must be laying, judging by how many eggs I'm getting, but I can't tell who laid what!

I think JG's are close to a year old before they begin laying.

I've gotten 7 eggs from 8 hens so unless one of my hens is laying 2 a day, one of my Jerseys is laying! Lol, they will be a year in June.

No, mine started laying at the same time as the other breeds.

Wow, that's good. I still would like to get some of that gene pool in my flock.

@MoonShadows I get lots of large eggs. You just never know what comes out of them.

This one was not only a double yolk but a double egg...

I guess I have boring chickens. I've never had a double yolker. Maybe when my Jerseys get big enough!
