I think the idea of drying them to add to pet food is a good idea, though.

Hubby says the powdered eggs that they'd get occasionally on the boat were ok. He remembers horrible things and doesn't really remember them. Like his first cruise where they served ravioli way too often as the only option. He won't eat it now. You'd think aircraft carriers would have better storage.

Poor guy! I can't imagine being forced to eat the same thing over and over with very few other choices.

Lilac jelly, any jelly I can make I do, my kids eat a lot of bread/toast and jelly

beautiful! I tried to make jelly last year, but we don't really like it. The Baltimore Orioles love it though!

21 pints in the canner. Leftover chicken 3-4 pints to go in with 4-5 pints of ground beef after the first batch finishes
