Pickles, my go to is Bread and Butter, but I still have plenty. May just do a simple sweet pickle.
if your mouth is on fire you aren't noticing your back hurts... more seriously though there is a brain chemical released for some people who like hot foods - i'm still wimpy and don't like the superhots, but i do understand it having feasted in NM many times and cooked a lot of hot foods.
I'm not a fan of spicy hot -- it hurts, can't do it. A little heat, that doesn't stay beyond swallowing . The taste of jalapeno is good, without more than a whisper of heat. Thankfully there's a plant that's been developed with less fire.
