I would use pellet rifle vs the handgun. They have more fps than the handgun. If your looking for cheap alternative, use the crossman 760. It a multi pump.

I have a vacuum sealer how long would bean, rice, wheat or flour last, If I vacuum seal it. Also would I have to put a oxygen asborter in the vacuum sealed food to makeit have a longer shelf life.

The lowest I seen on the internet is $89.00 and ther sold out. I had a chance to get one at an auction I bid up to 75 the next increment was a 100. I stop when it got to 75. It went for 75. That was with the bayonet and sling. So far it seem like it would be a good cheap choice for a gun.

I guess it would depend on how long the person planed to live in the house. I would imagine it would be cheaper then tear the walls out and re-insulating with rolled or foam insulation and re-sheetrocking.
