his eyes are kinda "gunky". not sure how to explain it other than if you have alot of cats and they all get pinkeye infections and they get gunky eyes and you have to put that powder medicine on their eyes after you wash off the gunk. i will get a picture of it tomorrow. is this "nestbox eye"?
went to get the rabbits finally. well the hutch with the lionheads was bigger than the lady
told me over the phone. course she just guessed it because she couldnt find her tapemeasure. so
we only took one seat out of the van not two. so the hutch would not fit. so i will be going
back on...
i am getting a chocolate dutch buck, steel dutch doe, and her 4 kits that are about 2 wks old, and two cages. as well as a harlequin lionhead buck, two broken black lionhead does, and a hutch for them. AND ALL THAT FOR $150!!! the dutchs come from the sweetpea lines. not sure what that means...

i totally agree. in my area i am finding i can never find any animals i want/need when i actually want/need them. so after i "get good" with the trio i will be have perfect reasoning to get another buck, more does, and "get big". or bigger at least :)
my uncle always said "get good. then get big"
harder said then done though. when i get my colony set up i will be starting with at most 1 buck and 3 does.
well we just pull em off in the tied ring. but i cut the knots off and use the rest for the baskets. have to see if i can post some pics on here... lol
i think this should take you to some pics of the ones i made...
okay, i will try and think of everything i dealt with when i've had new milkers.
yes baskets from baling twine. we save all the twine off the bales after we feed em out so i have almost a whole 50 pound feed sack full of "rings" haha. will try and work on that video soon.
thanks :)
@snapshot
i will try and have somethin up soon to help you out. i know how difficult milking can be with four hooves going every which way.
are you having any specific problems that i could address?
so i was thinking about it for a while and finally got to it. i made a youtube channel.
the only videos i have up so far are on the goats, really. i will have many other topics and animals on soon enough though. about to work on videos of how i make goat cheese, making twine&yarn baskets, and a...
thanks. i have been thinking alot about it. kinda took what i saw from others set ups and what i have seen doing chickens and turkeys and deer. thought what would be handy to have, etc. and thats what i got so far.
POOR PEOPLE ?
One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the...

i dont like doctors, dont trust em. i dont really know why, just like a cat doesnt like water, i dont like doctors. i've told doctors about several issues and the only answer i was ever given...
which reminds me of something! my mom's biological father died when my mom was 19 <which ironically enough is how old i am now>. he had cancer. he had been very sturdy guy, very healthy. then he kinda snowballed downhill real quick. well one of the things he found out other then the cancer, was...
