Okk my basement is a plethora of sprouting spuds (last years harvest). I know you aren't supposed to eat green potato's but what about ones that have "legs" about a foot long? And some of the "legs" are green....still edible? The potato's themselves are not green.

I'm slowly becoming more self suffient. I have a big garden that needs to be bigger, a flock of chickens, I can, but not nearly as much as most of you (doesn't last past xmas). So what would be another step in the right direction?
