some of the same people who say "if the shtf, I'm coming to your house" have been calling wanting things because the stores are out. smh I told them then it have nothing for em. kinda sux to be that way, but i been telling folks for years hard times can come in the drop of a hat.

so i don't really panic buy, but today I did. we had a very expensive hvac job fall through at work for no good reason other than fear.

I took off work at 1030, borrowed a tiller and bought corn and seed potatoes. planted a nice plot of sweet corn in front of the garden and filled every hole in the garden with potatoes. then we planted green beans in every place we could stick em. even planted Bush beans around the trees.

Beans, corn and spuds will provide plenty of nice meals. Add that to some chicken, eggs and bunny... and you'll be doing just fine.


don't forget the venison, fish, and homemade bread!

had a slice today after planting with peanut butter and honey. it was amazing! the wife got concerned when I called it new depression food



oh and I named the new plot "corona garden" :D
