my boyscouts Christmas gift this year. it started as a cheap amazon axe that got tuned up, burned handle and custom sheath. not too shabby. it throws good too....not that ill tell him that

cranked out another one for this old valley forge axe. cool story: i found this axe leaned against a house the handle was rotting off of it. lots of rust where the head was in contact with the ground. we were replacing his sewer line (owner of the house of which the axe was leaning on) and the homeowner gave it to me. so i left it on my shelf for a couple years until i found the perfect handle, spent alot of time working on the profile and its in great working order now.
