Today I traded my %$#@! rooster and a non laying 
chicken for 24 fertile quail eggs and a bag of oats. I love my corner feed store! It is so old fashioned!

I have that same pan that's under Mrs Pumpkin Pie's box (oil changing pan?) I picked one up at a g-sale a few months ago to provide a "dust bathing" place for my chickens in their coop/pen. My hope & intent was to keep them penned up for the garden season & out of my flower beds, but of course they turned up their beaks, strutted over & pooped in it instead.
You should have seen the holes they created in my roses & raspberries. sheesh!
