Overachiever!

No kidding! That's a lot of work! I got all the legs and backstrap done yesterday. I cut the lower parts of the legs for lamb shanks for soup and stew. My neighbor brought his pruning loppers over for cutting through the bones, it was fantastic! So much better than hacking with a hatchet or a bone saw or hack saw. Clean cut, easy and fast. I got mine out, cleaned, scrubbed, cloroxed and sharpened and used it in the house. I'm going to buy a new pair, dedicated to indoor use only! This afternoon, I'll be grinding meat and working up all the little pieces.

It definitely IS a lot of work. Loppers are definitely your friend! We've used them while dismantling pigs too.

I have hand pruners I use for chickens. They live in my kitchen gadget drawer with the pliers I use for fish bones

The heavy stuff missed us completely today. Wind setup coming off the lake will determine how much, or how little, the overnight will bring

Looks like more snow than it really is because I mowed last weekend - you can't see blades of grass. One final snow band pushing over us now. Clearing out by lunch
